Pugsworth Disreali McDuck, philanthropist, society icon, and general Duck about town is the enigmatic owner of Pudgy McDuck's Real Ale Bar here at Eastview Estate. Pudgy's history is one of intrigue and adventure, at one stage a colonel in the SAS, he fell into a world of intrigue as a blood diamond smuggler in the Congo before dealing in arms in Africa, the arms business collapsed when they realised that once amputated , the arms rotted before they could get them to a transplant hospital, after a short foray into legs, which presented similar challenges, Pudgy moved into spying for M6, however when discovered in the bed of renown Russian diplomat, the comely Irina Rotchacokoff, his cover blown by front page headlines on every tabloid in Lesotho, he decided it was time to lay low. He travelled to Kentucky in the sleepy backwaters of the New England, where he set up a bar for lovers of real ale. A place where former spy's and failed clergy could lead anonymous lives, over a quiet pint of the real stuff, reliving their heroic tales of dering do.

If you visit Eastview make sure you visit Pudgy McDucks who knows you may even run into Pudgy hanging out with the Drakes or with a cute little Muskovy on his arm shakin' her tail feather. Either way Pudgy remains an international duck of mystery.

Pudgy McDucks features real ales hand pumped off the wood in the authentic English way there is nothing in the New England to compare with the experience of real ales by a log fire, by the pint or half pint, served in English pub glasses. Enjoy a game of darts or just relax on the sumptuous leather lounge and enjoy the panelled club like atmosphere, Traditional English and Irish Pub meals are complimented by a choice of pizzas and home made pies such as venison, duck and rich beef.
